InterVarsity Alumni and Faculty Programs

Many people are introduced to Campus by the Sea as college students, but the relationship with the camp does not need to end with graduation. We encourage InterVarsity alumni to stay connected through our week-long IV Alumni Vacation Week and cultivate a lifelong relationship with a restful place that serves as a spiritual home for many.

InterVarsity Alumni Vacation Week at Campus by the Sea - July 9-14, 2017

A new program has been launched this summer:  the IV Alumni Vacation Week. This five-night program is organized, administated and reserved through the IVCF Southern California Regional Office. CBS does not handle the registration for this event. In year’s past, Alumni of InterVarsity Campus Fellowships have traditionally come and shared camp with the faculty ministry during the second week of August. But as the faculty ministry has grown it has become necessary to move this progam to another site and to make this week primarily focus on our west coast faculty (See Campus Faculty Camp section below).

Groups of InterVarsity Alumni who wish to conduct their own program are encouraged to contact our guest services by email to book their own conference as a guest group.

Campus Faculty Camp - July 30-Aug 4

This conference is not hosted by Campus by the Sea in 2017.
Faculty from college and university campuses are encouraged to attend this conference that is designed for the needs of Christians in academia. See the InterVarsity West Coast Faculty Conference page (takes you to separate website) for more details and instructions on how to register. Faculty participants from across the United States are invited to come together in a community of learning, worship and prayer.  Due to the demands of this growing conference, this program has moved offsite and will be hosted on the grounds of Westmont College near Santa Barbara.
Faculty Conference Attendees Enjoy MeetingDuring the week attendees will participate together in manuscript Bible study and other activities. Afternoons provide an opportunity to rest, play or visit with friends and family with no formal program.  Evening sessions are designed specifically for faculty to explore the conference theme through special speakers and discussion.
