An Island Adventure for the Whole Family
We invite you and your loved ones to experience the rest, peace and restoration that is Campus by the Sea Family Camp. This is a chance for guests to unplug (literally) and get away to take full advantage of the rest and relaxation that awaits all in our private cove. Our desire is to honor the long history and legacy of family oriented camps at CBS by continuing to provide a life-changing event for families.

This 7-day, 6-night vacation will have programming specific for adults and children. We will have a daily speaker, discussion sessions and time in the Word for adults. Children will have age-appropriate, Bible stories and activities. Our schedule will allow enough flexibility for guests to build their own adventure, selecting from a myriad of self-service activities available in camp:
- Ping pong
- Shuffle board
- Frisbee golf
- Ga-Ga Ball
- Miles of hiking trails
You'll also have the option to partake in afternoon waterfront activities:
- Paddle boarding
- Tubing behind power boat (by sign up at camp)
If you love to fish, don't forget to bring your own pole and tackle and camp will provide frozen squid for bait.
Nightly beachside campfires will give guests a chance to unwind, relish the amazing ocean view and share s'mores, impromptu songs, and stories.
On Wednesday, everyone will have the option to participate in a morning hike into Avalon and revel in some of the adventures our little island tourist town has to offer. If you are not able to hike you can purchase passage on a water taxi that will pick you up at camp, shortly after breakfast. A water taxi will bring back all guests from town in the late afternoon.
Each family will be assigned a cabin unit or tent, which provide a simple yet comfortable camping experience. There is no electricity or plumbing in the cabins; however, they are centrallly located with easy access to dining room, meeting spaces and bath pavillion which is equipped with hot showers, flush toilets and electricity. See our accommodations page and camp map for further details.
